Vacationland

Me thinks God might have a bone to pick with the State of Maine.

After significant flooding in the spring, North Berwick was hit by a tornado this week. A tornado? In Maine? Isn't the ground about to freeze for winter?

Then yesterday an earthquake shook the Bangor area and well water levels are dropping. An earthquake? In Maine?

October's harvest moon might have a tinge of red. Watch out for locusts if you are in Vacationland.

Comments:
yeah, we have had some freak violent storms recently. The day the Tornado touched down in Berwick, we were scheduled to have a soccer game. At 2:45 it was raining unbelieveably hard, but by 3:15 it was completely sunny out.

A similar storm happened the previous sunday with tragic results:

I went by your grandparents house and it is amazing that the house was not damaged or even destroyed. The trees at the back and to the side of the house are all missing from about 20 to 30 feet up. Pretty much all the way to the powerlines. Some of those pine trees must be 2-3feet in diameter.

I guess maybe I should call home.

i agree, i've said before i'm glad i don't live in vacationland because Judgement is nigh.
