It doesn't take much...
I like this show... Burn Notice on the USA Network. Thursday night at 10.
It has a certain MacGyver/Mission Impossible/A-Team thing going for it. The main character (Michael) is a former CIA agent who uses spy craft to solve Magnum PI like problems. The show includes some voice over narration of Michael explaining the spy craft as he goes along. Like I said, it has certain MacGyver like qualities.
There are only two more episodes in this season. But thankfully USA chose to renew it for another season...
"USA has given the thumbs up to 13 more episodes of secret agent drama “Burn Notice,” Meanwhile, “Burn” has blazed new trails for USA on Thursday nights, winning its timeslot among basic cable nets every week since its June 28 premiere. Ratings for the skein have been on the rise, with last week’s seg notching a series-high 4.4 million viewers (2.3 million among adults 25-54, USA’s target demo). -Variety
Mark my words... he is going to make early seventies Dodge Chargers cool again. Not Hemi Barracuda cool (a la Nash Bridges), but at least old Mustang cool (a la Spencer for Hire.)
