See C-10 Go, Go C-10 Go
On our way to Wally World, my wife and I often pass a 1972 C-10 pickup resting in someone's driveway. This particular truck is "in the rough," but to me the potential is clear.
A quick search on Craigslist turned up this example for what could be. (Sidebar: mine would be silver, like the one my Uncle Butch had when I was in kindergarten) Maybe someday I'll get the courage to stop in and ask if the owner would consider a sale.

those trucks are pretty awesome and surprisingly common down here (relatively speaking). i love the stepside. i haven't seen too many of those.
